101 Barnsliga Rättigheter [101 Childish Rights] is a book created to highlight children's rights by showcasing all the wonderful aspects of childhood – small but significant moments that serve as proof that a child has been allowed to simply be a child. A child should be able to get grass stains on their knees, learn to sing along to the alphabet song, and be comforted when they get hurt.
My role in the project was to create illustrations for the book and handwrite the titles. I worked as part of a close-knit team that included an art director, copywriter, and designer responsible for layout. The proceeds from each book sold go to SOS Children's Villages to help provide more children with a safe and happy childhood.
101 Childish Rights was, in many ways, my first real step into the creative industry. The book has been part of my journey—from starting as an intern working on the wordmark used throughout the campaign, to illustrating as a paid creative, and returning multiple times to the project to create ad materials and videos for social media.
